Configuration Templates

A configuration template is a platform-maintained, read-only starting point for a configuration — a pre-populated set of operators, granularities, and actions tuned for a use case. Templates are applied client-side: fetch one, complete the fields it leaves open (at minimum the webhook_url on each action), and POST the result to Configurations; the server never merges a template's definition for you. The Templates concept guide covers the apply flow and template_id lineage.
